The Significance of Hair Mineral Ratios: What to know


Ca:mg Calcium to Magnesium “The Blood Sugar Ratio” 

Normal range for ratio: 6.6:1 

If this ratio shows to be >10:1 or <3.3:1, the patient may have diabetes or hypoglycemia.

Symptoms of Hyperglycemia:

  • Skin tags
  • Extreme exhaustion
  • Frequent urination
  • Loss of sex drive
  • Excessive thirst
  • Heart/Kidney disease

Symptoms of Hypoglycemia:

  • Coordination problems, clumsiness 
  • Feeling weak or having no energy
