Meet Maria Mladen

About

Maria is our acupuncture intern and assists Joseph in the office with patients; along with offering facial gua sha, facial cupping, and manual therapy. Maria is also a Reiki practitioner and offers Reiki alongside our Usui Reiki providers here.
Maria's interest in acupuncture culminated when she sat in for an acupuncture session her mom had with Joseph about 10 years ago. Joe explained what TCM is and how it worked. The natural ways of healing intrigued her, and she was drawn to help others heal naturally. When Maria saw how much acupuncture helped her mom, saving her from requiring surgery, Maria knew this was the path she wanted to take.

Education & Training

She is currently attending University of Bridgeport to complete her Master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
